So by now I would think you're beginning to understand my take on favorites. Like my favorite song and movie, my favorite TV show is affected by what month it is, the time of day, my mood, what my favorite food at the time is and possibly the color of the scrunchie elastic band in my hair. Currently the position of favorite is a toss up between Legend of the Seeker , Fringe, and Leverage.
Legend of the Seeker is kinda like the old-school shows like Xena and BeastMaster. It's a crazy traipsing around pretty forests and odd villages beating bad guys with awesome fighting skills and shiny magic and pretty people show.
Fringe is a weird things keep happening we have to fix it !with science show. Kinda like X-Files with no aliens and less UST.
Leverage is a team of thieves helping out people. Kinda like Robin Hood except modern day, more amazing, and more revenge-y. In the words of Nate 'The rich and powerful, they take what they want. We steal it back for you. Sometimes bad guys make the best good guys. We provide leverage.'
So as you may be able to see despite my weird descriptions all these show are pretty awesome. But I suppose if I have to pick one it would be Leverage. Because it's way less high octane nightmare fuel than Fringe and less mood whiplash than Legend of the Seeker. In other words the show least likely to give me nightmares about people in leather stealing my soul for science.
It took me longer than necessary to write this because I kept getting distracted by tropes.
