Festivals Festivals!
If I had to choose just one aspect of life in Japan that I would want other people to experience, it would have to be festivals. Japanese festivals are, in a word, incredible. It's a wild mix of costumes, music, beer, sake, and whatever float/shrine/deity/event the festival is designed to celebrate. So, last night being the local festival... I went and partied. I took a number of photos... all of which I will need to edit (file size-wise) before uploading somewhere people can view them.
In other news, my apartment is almost clean again. After a month or so of being gone on weekends, the clutter was nigh unbearable. I'll finish the kitchen and bedroom tonight, which will leave me with one more room to straighten up before being finished. After that, I'll probably do something stupid (i.e. go out and buy more stuff since I have space in which to put it).
Anyhow, back to the real world I go...
