Ok. So I went to help my mate take his bike from Wiley Park to Newtown. We got there to discover the sucker had no petrol. A jerry can later, we discover that the battery is pretty much flat. After about an hour or so of pushing it up this semi-steep incline and then trying to jump-start it whilst wearing full gear made me sweat to the point that I almost collapsed from dehydration. Finally, we got it started and I did a few laps to build up a charge in the battery. Now the final irony being that as we go to leave, I stop at an intersection to wait for traffic, and guess what happened? We both said fuck it, no ebnergy left to cart it up the fucking hill again. We're going back on Thursday with a battery charger, not to allow it to defeat us!
Sunday morning arrives for me to get a call from my mother saying I've family down and that I must be there. Oh w00t to that. I ended up sitting around, listening to my iPod, reading and doing sudoku, when I could've been at rehearsals! Bah to that! As it turns out, I've to attend dinner tomorrow night as I missed it tonight with the extended family. They say you can choose your friends...
As for the interview I had today, lucky I checked the details before getting there, as it turns out, it's tomorrow at 2pm. It's also scheduled to go for 2 hours - I'm guessing they have some test set for me - so that'll make life interesting. Guaranteed, I'm gonna be knackered tomorrow evening!
