hide! How I love thee...
Okay so....I'm obsessed...aren't n I always? About something? Well this is my current obsession...hide! (Pronounced hee-day)
See isn't he the coolest person ever? Well I think so...
Anyways, hide was a guitarist in the band X-Japan from the mid eighties till 97. I think it was from 91 or 92 till 98 that he was doing his solo work. Sadly he passed on on May 2nd 1998.
The single Pink Spider was the single that came out before his death and it rose and stayed at number 1 for...I can't remember exactly how long, but a long time, another one of singles I think it was Ever free was also top of the charts in Japan at the same time.
Now I'm a fairly new JRock fan, I only know a few bands really well, but my knowledge is growing. hide is for sure my idol right now, his character and charisma was so amazing, you can't help but look up to him, he influence so many people to just be themselves and touched the hearts of thousands.
I'll be writing out a proper little thing for him on May 2nd.
Also I've made a happy music video about him (A Tribute), only problem is I was using clips I ripped off of YouTube so the quality is really bad. If anybody out there has access to somewhere where I can get good quality clips of hide & X-Japan I'd appreciate it a lot!
I'm also re-dying my hair pink on the 2nd. I did already a couple weeks ago, but it didn't turn out that well, and it's faded a lot already. So I'm going to re-do the black underneath, get a trim, maybe some more intense layers, and then do the top half pink again...hopefully it turns out better and stays longer.
