At his major press conference in Tokyo yesterday, Yoshiki announced that there will be another X JAPAN live in Japan this year and that he has written a new song for the band.

Jrock Revolution's Hibara was at the Yoshiki press conference yesterday, and she sent us this summary of what went on. In her own words, here's a fan-perspective of this event:

Thousands of fans gathered at the venue early in the morning on September 15th to enter the Olympic Plaza-the event was "free," but actually only about 4,000 people were able to get in. The numbers of the people who could enter was restricted by 10:00am. Although lining up for the conference from the day before was prohibited, it was announced that the ticket desk for the lot would be opened at 10:00am by Yoshiki-Mobile, so tons of people were outside the Olympic Plaza to watch the press conference. TV news in the evening in Japan reported that over 10,000 people were there.

It was planned to start it on the noon, but it was delayed over 30 minutes as usual. (The appearance of YOSHIKI is always delayed.)

At 12:25pm, the MC, Shiho Hashimoto appeared and talked about this press conference for a while. After that, some race queens (the promotional models) appeared and a few motorcycle came in front of the stage. Then a sport car glided into there and blondes got out of the car, finally YOSHIKI appeared by lifting the door of the car!

This press conference seems to be supported by "ROCKSTAR ENERGY DRINK". At first the MC made the announcement that YOSHIKI undertook an executive producer of this "ROCKSTAR ENERGY DRINK." Also the representative of "ROCKSTAR ENERGY DRINK" gave a presentation about the product for a while.

The latter half of this open press conference, YOSHIKI made some announcements by himself below.

-"X JAPAN countdown concert" at the end of this year is planned in Japan.

-Also "X JAPAN Christmas event" is planned in Japan. (It might be a classical concert.)

-The venues will be announced in next couple of weeks. (The staff of each concert hall fears a X JAPAN concert/event!)

-YOSHIKI used to be write himself as "producer" on entry visa after the disbandment of X JAPAN, but he writes "musician" as of this year!

-Comments from X JAPAN members:

From HEATH:

"We will drive energetically this time too, so llet's have fun together!"

From PATA:

"Give me the T-shirt."

From TOSHI:

"Let's enjoy the concert together at the end of the year again! Please care about YOSHIKI."

-About Europe concert in Paris

It is a first time for Japanese artist to perform at this concert hall. YOSHIKI started playing the piano already, but he hasn't played drums yet...

-YOSHIKI left for Taiwan after the press conference. He was worried about the weather because typhoon is approaching.

-He will carry out some interviews and the promotion of X JAPAN in 5 countries over 5 days.

-He will go there by his private airplane, because that would be more efficient.

-He doesn't know much about Taiwan because he's never been there.

-X JAPAN concert in China might be held at the Bird's Nest National Stadium (which was where the Beijing Olympics were held). This is still under negotiation.

-X JAPAN's song will be in "Rock Band 2" (a music game) produced by Harmonix in the U.S. It will be sold in Japan too.

-In 2010, it is the 100th anniversary of Akira Kurosawa's birth. (He is a very famous Japanese film director.) YOSHIKI will be a music producer of the memorial film which will be on the screen nation-wide in the U.S.

-YOSHIKI said: "There's nothing to fear, everything is ok with me!"

-YOSHIKI wrote a new song for X JAPAN. Next one is more heavy and violent than before, because he noticed that Toshi can sing violently. (To be honest, he didn't know how Toshi would be able to do when they played a song for SAW IV.) Of course, they will release it in Japan!

-To be honest, it's hard for YOSHIKI to play "Silent Jealousy." However, it is always top of the request chart by fans.

-He lives healthy. It's opposite to the on-stage performance.

-Message for fans from YOSHIKI:

"I am supposed to let you guys see my cheerful appearance because it's been a while. But it became too big an event. I can't say my condition is good enough but I'll do my best. I don't know how long this strain will continue... but thank you in advance."

At the end of this conference, there was a photo/movie shooting by mass media.

The ending songs were "Without You" and "Tears."

*end*
