The further adventures of Super-Mae
It's been a fun couple of days.
Super-Mae did a super dive to the bathroom floor yesterday morning and cracked a bone in her wrist on the way down. Not my most graceful dismount ever, I have to admit. I will say that impacting against metal chair legs should be avoided - it tends to lead to ouchiness.
5 hours of my life spent in A&E I won't get back, and now i have a temporary cast on my left arm until next Thursday. We'll have to see whether they put a full cast on or decide it's not necessary.
I plan to spend the weekened sleeping, eating nice, easy to prep (one-handed) food and chocolate and taking lots of pain killers.

RIP Natasha Richardson. You will be much missed. My heart goes out to your family and your lovely boys. I know how hard your loss will be to them and I wish them much love and kindness. I know you will be watching over them from your seat in heaven. Tell my Mam I said hi. xxxxx
