What Homework?
So, I should be doing homework since tonight is slow at work and I have stuff due in German tomorrow, but I keep getting distracted. Damn internet. Not only has geonncannon made a bunny start racing through my head (I should never have read that thing about Adria/Keller), but now I've just watched a Sanctuary vid that has me wanting to go back and watch the first Sanctuary arc again for the hottness that was/is Helen/Druitt. Which is actually really bad because it's putting ideas in my mind for Carter/Todd. Of course, that reminds me of the vid that I still need to do for Rodney/Todd and...yeah, the homework is not getting done.
Right now the Adria/Carter/Keller idea is swimming around the most and I keep seeing visions of the three of them plus Adria/Keller (which spawned it all), Adria/Carter and Carter/Keller. Assuming I can ever write SG-1/SGA fic successfully again, that will probably be the next thing I write.
I'm pretty sure I can deal with Sanctuary by just watching it (fancy that). Maybe read a few fics. But watching that vid (which is here in case anyone is curious) has made me all jealous of Helen's hair. That red streak gets hotter every time I see it. I'm thinking about finding a way of putting it in mine without having to dye it. Dorky and fangirly, I know, but...whatever. I had the whole Rogue (from X-men) look going in high school and it looked badass.
But that still leaves the Carter/Todd thing and the vid. I'm actually going to see what I can do with the Toshiba video editing software and, if that busts, I'll see what other stuff I can find from...my cracktastic sources who shall remain unnamed but anyone with a brain can probably figure out. With any luck, though, that'll take care of the vid. It takes me basically a solid day to make a vid (though that may be extended by having to learn new software) and this time I'm planning to actually get the damn thing beta'ed, so that may take a little more time, but that still just means I have to find the means and the time.
Carter/Todd may or may not get done. It's just an image at the moment, so it probably won't develop any further (I can hope, anyway). If someone wants to take that and run with it, be my guest.
All of that said, I'm still left fighting with Adria/Carter/Keller while trying to do homework. Do you think my professor would accept Stargate slash in German instead of the workbook exercises?
