As Things Stand
And to those who care about what's going on who aren't my Yuletide Santa, I offer you this humble post.

I got my Yuletide assignment. Looked at three of the four fandoms requested and was like...the fuck? Two, I've never heard of. One I've heard of but never had an interest in. I may go check it out just to see if there's anything I can do with it. The one I did know and had offered, I giggled. I've never written in that fandom (ha! Not giving anything away! I've only posted here in two big fandoms!). I'll probably go with that one, unless the last turns out to be a lot better than I ever imagined.
NaNoWriMo...I've sort of written since last time I posted, but yesterday was pretty busy, so not much. I'm hoping to be able to do a lot more today and tonight. I have a test in POL and community service at the court house at 3, so there will be a little bit of time between there. Plus, I'm not going home tonight cause of Pledge Retreat tomorrow, so there should be some time there.
DVD burning...I hate my life. I went to Wal-Mart last night to get more DVDs. They only went as high as a 15 pack on DVD-RWs, so that was annoying. But I got it and I started burning before I went to bed. I woke up, it was still going. Not surprising since I went to bed late last night. I came back after Arabic, cause I realized I smelled like burnt popcorn (don't ask) and the damn thing had died. The only change was that AVG started scanning. I'm gonna cancel all scans for tonight and let it run again while I sleep tonight and see what happens.
And a final note of annoyance, my monitors at work somehow got switched. We have double monitors (I loves it), but they are backwards today. Thing is, there is still under them, so I know they weren't moved. I think the computer gremlins are having fun at my expense. It is very odd to drag a window to the far right and have it appear on the far left. *sigh* Only another hour, though.
And with all that said and done, I think I'm gonna go get coffee and then write a little more. Or type...whatever.
