Successfully finished my History analysis, but then near midnight, I
realised my anthropology tute was the next day and I haven't done the
reading yet, so I stayed up doing that. Where does
the time go? I'm only at uni 2 days a week, but I do some work the
other days - all mainly reading. There's a hell of a lot of reading to
do! But they're interesting so it doesn't matter, but there's so much
material that after I finish, I can barely what the first chapter was
about. Gah! Anyway, the time is flying by super quick. 9 more weeks
until my holidays and I just started back at uni! Now I have to start
my analysis on the novel by E.M Forster - "A Passage to India". I have
to give a presentation for it next week! Argh! I really really
hate giving this stuff. What does it matter as long as I can do it on
paper?!? I guess it does prepare you for the work force, but still. Its
annoying, and I'm a horrible public speaker, and I'm suppose to lead
the discussion. At least I get to read part of it.
I want a job at Border's now. They're opening a new store at my local
shopping centre, and I got a sort of interview set for September 1. But
I really hate these interviews. Always answering the same questions
with the same answers. It drives me nuts. Why ask if you want the same
answers?
Q: "Why do you want to work for us?"
Me: "Because i'm dirt poor and you're the closest sucker i've come in contact with to score me a job. Money! Gimmmmeeeee!!!"
No wonder I'm unemployed.
