Today was the first day of band camp! I enjoyed seeing everyone. I have really missed not getting to see and talk to my friends every day. Not that my summer has been boring, b/c it hasn't. Compared to all my other summers it has been rather eventful. I went to Florida for a week in July, we went camping (we're going again this weekend. Yay!!), I saw Star Wars 3, I went rafting w/ my aunt and cousin (which was totally awesome), I baby-sat my 3 little cousins a few days, and some other various miscellaneous stuff that I can't recall at the moment.
2 of my friends moved this past year. Matt moved during school to Alabama and Ollie moved 3 days ago to Florida. It still doesn't really seem...um... right...real, I dunno the word for it. Letting go is part of life, I guess though. But we still have hope: I'll see you guys all the time in Heaven!! You can come visit me in my mansion and I'll come visit you in your mansion and we'll have just a grand ol' time!! But here I am, talking like they died or something. I did kinda have to "let them go" though. If you don't understand, I don't blame you. But I know what I mean... sorta. lol.
I can't believe band camp is already here. That means tenth grade is right around the corner. AAAAHHHHHH!!!!!! Time flies by when you're having fun, huh? Man, what happened to all of my summer goals? I wanted to finish my room, practice 30 minutes a day, eat healthier, get abs, organize and go thru a bunch of crap, work on memorizing scripture, expanding my prayer life, and submerging myself in God's Word. I guess some of them I have accomplished. Some I haven't.
I haven't finished my room, but I am currently painting my trim and stuff. After I do all that jazz I will move all my furniture back in my room. That will be good b/c I can go thru my drawers and organize everything when I get that done. Then my dad has to rebuild my closet. It fell. Oops. Anyways, I can organize everything then after all that. As far as the practice 30 minutes a day thing goes, hahahaha. That goal was utterly and totally destroyed by some stange, unseen force. Yup, somebody dropped a nuclear power plant on that one. Don't get me wrong, I practiced some, but not no 30 minutes a day. That's aight, b/c this morning really motivated me. I kinda stunk it up. Pretty bad. P-U. Eating healthier and getting abs didn't follow thru too well, either, but I can live w/ that. Unless I go into cardiac arrest someday. Then I might cease to exist on this planet...ok, anyway...
Oh, yes! My spiritual goals! For those of you who didn't know, I got baptized last December 7th. I was saved about a year or more before that. My spritual life has really been boosted this past entire year. I am certain that it is b/c of God's wonderful, amazing grace! He has sent me such cool parents, a great little brother, a loving family, mucho-positive influences, and wonderful Christian friends! I LOVE YOU GUYS and I really don't know where I would be w/o you all. Slovo, slovo, bokovich!
I also got a truck this summer! It's a Chevy S-10. `99, stick-shift. I'm a little apprehensive about the stick-shift part, but will learn. I think I'm going to get my permit this week. Hopefully. Anyways, I suppose I better make like a tree and get off the internet. My mom has to use the phone. See ya'll peeps later! Stay safe and drive on the right side of the road!
"The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen." ~Phillipians 4:23
