Basics
When did you first discover Harry Potter?:
When did GoF come out again? Was that 1999 or 2000? Anyway, I discovered HP six months before GoF came out. I picked up the books (SS, CoS, PoA) during a short vacation, because I'd heard a bit about them and I'm a big fan of children's books like these.
Book first or movie first?:
Books. The first movie wasn't even made back then.
Were you hooked instantly, or did it take a while?:
Instantly. I couldn't put any of the books down. I was amazed by the world JKR had created and the characters in that world and the adventure and the mystery and those lovely plot twists. It became an instant addiction.
Did you instantly fall in love w/ any specific character?:
Would it be every odd if I said Voldemort? Heh. I loved Harry from the start, and along the way I also fell in love with Voldemort, Sirius and Remus. I didn't really start to appreciate Snape and Lucius until I discovered fanfiction, which was two years after I read the books.

Gryffindor: Harry
Slytherin: Voldemort! (he's the heir! Ultimate Slytherin, if you ask me.)

Character overall: Sirius. Although Harry, Voldemort, Remus, Snape and Lucius are all personal favorites of mine, and come very close to Sirius' first place.

Book 1?: one evening
Book 2?: one afternoon, directly following book 1
Book 3?: one evening, directly following book 2
Book 4?: 2 to 3 days, if I recall correctly
Book 5?: 14 hours straight. I was broken after that.
If you were in Harry Potter...
What house would you be in?:
Slytherin. Most definitely. I'm too ambitious for my own good, not the nicest person on the planet, like saving my own arse more than saving anyone else's and have no problem manipulating people if it gives me what I want. What? Told you, not the nicest person around.
What would your pet be?:
*looks at her five dogs* Well, it wouldn't be a cat, that's for sure. I think having an owl would be very cool. Or a rat. I love rats.
What would your wand be?:
Long enough. ;-)
Who would you date?:
Oh man...okay, let's assume these blokes would even want to date me, shall we? I'd love to say Sirius, but truth is, I am Sirius, in female form. I think we'd end up fighting and bickering most of the time. I think Remus would be more my type, and I'd definitely wouldn't mind dating Remus. *pets the nice wolf*
If I had to pick someone a bit younger, perhaps Charlie Weasley. I mean...this guy can tame dragons. I'm certain he could also tame me. :D
And if on the odd chance I'd become a Death Eater, then definitely Voldemort. Bella, you crazy bint, go shag your bloody husband. Voldie's mine. ;-)
What would be your fav. subject?:
While I would really like to answer Potions or DADA (and I'd certainly be very interested in those subjects), the true answer would be...um...Care of Magical Creatures. What can I say? I love animals with a passion. *goes to hide now*

I was heart-broken, devastated, crying my eyes out for hours, and cursed JKR to seven hells and back. How the bloody fuck could she do that? Anyone but Sirius! I still get upset just thinking about it.
What are your views on the Dark Lord?:
Can I turn this little meme into a fifty page essay? Ah, thought not. Let's keep it short then. I LOVE Voldemort. He is one interesting bugger, and the parallels between him and RL megalomaniacs intrigue me to no end. I love writing him, I love trying to get inside his head and figure out how he thinks, what motivates him and especially how and why he became Lord Voldemort in the first place. Man, Voldie rocks my world.
Weasleys or Malfoys?:
Can I vote for a nice Lucius/Bill sandwich with Harry as the delicious meat? Heh. I love the Malfoys, but some of the Weasleys are also very appealing.
