I suppose I should say something about tommrow...besides it being a corporate gimmick to seperate people from their money because well.. you can't have love without candy and flowers and spending buckets of cash on your S/O or the person you want to be your S/O.
Blah. Horrible holiday.. Either you feel bad if you can afford to buy that special something stuff, you feel bad because you don't have a special someone, or you feel bad watching the other special someone's with their someone's and BAH!
I'm sure St. Valentine was all well meaning when he married people so they could avoid war and stuff, but now his message is all warped and covered in candy kisses and junk.
Ah well, least some people are happy...hopefully. Or at least some people are getting holiday nookie lol
So, yeah Valentine's day is a rather depressing holiday for a majority of people. It's an ingrained thing from childhood that if you don't get something for the holiday, most likely something that'd make you gain a few pounds, then you're worthless. I disagree fully heartedly with that idea.
Bah.
Anyway, I'm sitting here, bored and actually waiting to go back to work, waiting for the rain to stop or taper down so I can shovel the steps... and maybe sand.
Appropriate weather for this holiday actually..though it'll be bright sunny and cold tommrow -.-; Why's it gotta be sunny and COLD. Supposed to be sunny and warm. I miss warm weather already. I miss spring and being able to go outside and take a walk to...somewhere... randomly. I should probably walk down to dun pond when I have free days.
Adrie is also telling me I should go back to school. I did pay off my debt to the school, but...well...Lot's of bad and blah memories in that school. Also, they don't really have anything I want to take. Well, I could take sculpture and some ceramics classes..but...

I'll just focus on getting money. Save up and go away from here..Far from here.. where it's warm...or warmer..cause this weather is killing me.
Ok ok, now I have to find something good to talk about here cause I've spent most of thins grumbling. Lol.
Let's see..something good....Next year, if all goes well, I'll go visit Jen down south for her wedding. She's going all pagan and trying to get her fiance to do something called "jumping the broom"...I Honestly can't picture George doing acrobatics, LoL.
I have insurnace and stuff now so I have a doctor's appointment in March. Most wouldn't call that good, but well, I want to make sure I'm healthy. Don't wanna end up like my dad.
They're finally putting me on front reg more often at work. Still not as fast as I want and should be getting everything but I'm getting better at running around like a chicken with my head cut off. Lol. Sides, I'm good with money and rare is the time my drawer is ever short...sometimes a little over, but not short. And it's only over when little old ladies with very confusing orders and are very persnickety start badgering me and the sandwich maker. Oh man -.-;
I'm going to see Jumper...soonish with Amy. That looks cool. And I'm going to see Iron Man with my dad, and maybe Get Smart. Used to love that show when they put it on Nick at Night. I miss oldschool tv shows ;.;
OH! I figured out how to cook something really yummy, and good for you. I take strips of nice beef, preferably with no fat. Nice and tender stuff too not that crap they sell that's too tough. I cut the peices up and put them in little baggies filled with this Hannaford inspirations Lemon pepper marinade, and ?I let em soak hat up. Then I make some white rice, and cut up some fresh green beans and use grated carrots. I dump the meat with all the marinade in te bag into a pan, cook it up a little, then throw in the green beans and carrots, finish cooking it, then dump some of that onto a pile of rice.
SO NUMMY! And loaded with veggies cause I don't skimp on the greenbeans and carrots...lol I had to add more marinade to it just to compensate for all the veggies so there would be enough to coat everything....
Damn it now I want some and i just made it last week! lol
Other than that... life is still sorta dull. Still waiting for life to start so to speak, and I'm sure I should probably help it along by going out more but..Well I like my days off thanks. Work kills my back -.-;
anywho, i'ma shut up now and go finish my laundry ^.^; and maybe shovel wet snow...oy.. there goes my back -.-;
