Scattered thunderstorm days give the earth a piercing radiance. The tree looks alarmingly green against the warring blue sky. There exists a feeling of something brewing

reading you bunny was about to give birth .I remembered last summer when Grandma Catherine's stray cat gave birth..Grandma had gone to california to visit Darlene.. She had the birthing bed ready for stray kitty if I could lure her into the house..Kitty did come in the garage while I was there and I caputured her.
I was filled with such excitement and anticipation. I had a gut feeling birth was immenient ...I came in one morning calling out kitties name..I was with Mary...all of sudden we heard a large cry,, and little loud pitched kitten cries..I started screaming and Mary had to rein me in. She saying "mom your scaring the cats with your yealling". Mary always the practical one in our relationship.
I adopted one of the sweet little chocolate colored kittens..Of course I named her chocolate...
Mary and I spent several times in the basement with the kitties...Sometimes grandma was there ..We marveled at there quick developement...and how they learned to be independent..The time we all watched when they had their first taste of catfood...My kitty was the first to jump right in to try it...
Well I am going out on a tanget...but I brought back such nice memories when I heard of your bunnies immeniet birth...I will be such a joy when their born and you watch their developement.
I wish you a great semmester as you go forth to graduate from school..I am and always will be proud of you and jennifer ..you mean so much to me...I hope someday..you, me , Mary and Jennifer can go out .for lunch, drinks or whatever...

Eileen... I wish I could say I had a pleasant experience like yours, but my bunny actually went into distress and we lost her, and her entire litter. it's been an awful few days.

I feel very saddened to hear about the loss of your beloved bunny and her little ones....I was suppose to be an exciting event which makes its more sad...Maybe you can turn to your writing to find solace..I remember when Larry jr was born. The whole family was estatic waiting for the big event. Instead of joy there was there was a tragic sense of loss ..like for the child we were expecting had died. In time we knew it was meant to be...losing your bunny will in some ways enrich your experiences as a writer...You may now have a deeper understanding of dreaming of the birth of a child only to find out that was not meant to be.'
