Lue's Journal: Strange Influences
Today has been a weird day.
I found Lar in Lower City today...he's even -more- paranoid than normal. Kept talking about something in the shadows. It was pretending to Maedryn, but I haven't seen anything. Got interrupted twice...Lower City is worse than Murder Row about street thugs.
Lar mouths off to this orc lady, which honestly is never a good idea. I would have run, but she got hold of him. I tried to help, got her in the shoulder, but only got myself a broken rib in the process. Vorrick shows up as we beat a hasty retreat...
I think it's ironic when they tell me what to do, because they're off doing exactly the opposite.
Tried to make it back to Orgimmar to find a doc, but I missed and ended up in the goblin harbor instead. Ran into Paelias. I haven't seen him in...fel. Way too long. Got the rib taken care of, did some catching up. He looked awful. Larinath-level awful.
I think Lar is starting to rub off on me...because I ended up lying straight-face to Pae twice. Told him the truth about my training, then thought better of it. Played it off like a joke...He believed me. As for the other thing...I'm not even sure.
Maybe I'm just overthinking it.
