(no subject)
Well...I know it has been forever since I have posted. Maybe I can get in the swing of things and start posting on a semi regular basis.
1. I changed my layout. Still needs some work, I think. It will do for now.
2. We are officially in 'empty nest' mode now. We moved Whitney to her apartment in Chicago last Monday. She took Jasper (her cat) with her. He seems to be adjusting well...better than me, I suppose. Ah well.
3. I spent Mother's Day weekend with Whitney (in her dorm) in Chicago and we went to the Harry Potter Exhibit. It was totally awesome! I got to check out their apartment. Its nice, but expensive. I rode the Amtrak train there and back (first time) and I rather enjoyed it.
4. I finally got my 30 day personal leave from work (I have been requesting this for over a year). Perfect time for it. Whitney was home for a week, then we moved her to Chicago. Maverick was off work this week, will work next week, then be off the following week. (cutbacks at work). If he doesn't work his 2nd job that week (with his brother) I wanted to be free to go with him to visit his sister in Tennessee. There's no way I would have been able to take a week to be with Whit, then take another week to go with Mav.
5. I don't miss work at all! Bob Evans is a great place to eat, but it sucks to work there. Maybe we'll win the lottery and I will never have to go back, except to eat. *crosses fingers.
