So I am going to Mexico for a circus convention....it is going to be incredible! It lasts for 5 days and during the days there will be workshops on every circus art imaginable- aerial acrobatics, hand balancing, juggling, tight rope walking, fire dancing, unicycling, clowning, etc. Then every night they have a few acts scheduled to perform…I will also be performing on at least one of the nights. I am sooo excited but also a little nervous about the travel aspect of it….Never been on a plane, never left the country, don’t speak Spanish…etc. But I am sure I will be fine and it will be a wonderful experience for me. The place where they are holding the convention is called Xilitla in San Louis Patosi near San Miguel De Allende….It is literally paradise! I am flying into Mexico City and taking the metro to autobusses del norte then catching the fletcha amarilla bus for the long and winding journey to Xilitla....Mexico City is around 7,340 elevation (I forgot the exact number) and San Miguel De Allende is even higher....yikes. Wish me luck....I can so do this. haha. It is going to be an amazing adventure. :)
I will be leaving on the 22nd…just a few days away! I will be returning on the 27th and will have lots of pictures and stories when I get back. Talk to you all soon! Love and hugs to all.
