I have fandom tunnel-vision! You know this!
So, as Caroline witnessed last night, the transition from full-on tunnel-vision focus on one couple to another finally took place. I kept telling you all that it would happen eventually, because it always does, and you just have to bite your tongue and wait me out, LOL. Last night, after watching what was probably my least favorite episode of House in the history of the world, I IM'd Caro and said: "TV can kiss my ass. Let's talk about Booth/Brennan now."
Transition complete. I cannot predict or make any promises about how long Booth/Brennan will actually stay in the tunnel this go round, but I suspect it will be for at least 40-ish days -- once winter hiatus is over, there's no telling where I'll end up. Lost comes back (LASDHFGAHDGAKLHGLAKLHADG!!!) and Friday Night Lights will *finally* start airing it's 3rd season on network TV, so chances are one of them will take over the tunnel pretty quickly. Of course, the second half of the season for Bones promises way, way too many awesome things for me to actually take them out of the tunnel... and a tiny part of me still clings to hope that House is going to fix itself (finally) in the second half...
I think I need a bigger tunnel.
Anyway, I just wanted to say one more thing about my unhealthy House addiction before I put it on the back burner for a while: ( boss!Cam is bossy, and this may be the show's saving grace )
And with that, I return my full-on focus to BOOTH/BRENNAN OMG SQUEE! The ridiculously exciting episodes are finally about to start! *spins and twirls*
