I'm back in Valenzuela! :) I just realized that I really miss my family. Just being with them is enough for me to be happy. Being home is really a gift to be treasured. I really want to spend more time with my family, especially my parents since they are not getting any younger. Yes, I gave up my independence but I realized 1 year is enough for me to be on my own to learn and know my limitations. But being at home will not mean I will stop doing things I'm doing when I'm in my condo like learning how to cook. I still want to learn more household chores and I want to prepare for my future when I have my family of my own but this time, with the guidance of my family and my housemates. Since I also have my own room now, I will also have a private place where I can read, study, practice, reflect and pray. This is a great time for me to learn more and prepare for my masteral, my plans for my future school and for my new role in our company (maybe a solutions architect or similar - an added knowledge and training for me). I'm still continuing my masteral and I'm so glad that things are going great, more than I expected. Thanks to you Lord. :) I'm now on a semestral break and I chose not to enroll for Summer so I can focus on other things like the Makati Project (that I'm postponing for quite some time now), spending time with my friends, attending seminars in IMG and the like, helping in process and system improvements at work, and learning new things as I go on. The company outing is also a great experience especially the team building. It's really surprising how we are able to grow and I am able to stay for 3 years in our company given that there were a lot of issues we encountered, many competent and dedicated employees left the company and there are still a lot of things we need to solve in our company. Hopefully, things will continue to improve now that we have a country manager, two new Project Managers, one QA manager and one Director for Engineering hired this year. Our client is also doing their part to help in making things tolerable and manageable. Our company is also now encouraging trainings and interest groups in our company so we can be more well rounded, competent, productive and knowledgeable. One thing I just learned from my experience in our company is to let go and let God be in control. It's okay to try to provide solutions to problems, to initiate and to help but if things are not going the way we expect and we think we are doing our best and our part already, let God do the rest. He will hear our prayers. :) I know there are a lot of things we still need to do but knowing that there are now more people in our company that are willing to lead and do their respective roles, with also high hopes to bring this company a success, I know things will be better. I really do hope for it. By the way, our company office will soon be available by June in Ortigas. I'm really excited. I already saw the design. I really do hope for continuous blessings for our company, my officemates, my family, my friends, myself and many other people. Lord, I really owe You a lot. Someday, I will repay You for all Your goodness. Help me Lord to follow Your will. My life is nothing without You. :)
