On this Lenten Season
Yesterday was the despedida of Brij. She's now going to work abroad. We had dinner at Burgoo Podium then videoke at Music Match Ortigas Near Home Depot.

I'm now at home. This morning, I attended our Lenten Recollection for Legion of Mary. I just want to share what I learned from the recollection:
Lent is a time for us to be thankful and to allow God to act in us.
Lent is far from self-absorption and self loathing, but rather a time in which we welcome God's grace and allow God's presence to flourish us.
God is calling us to reflect and to focus not on what we want but on God and our faith. And this coming Holy week, I'll try my best to focus on Him, not on myself or anything that's bothering me. Thinking about it, it's been awhile since I read the Bible. I was so focused with myself and what I need to do that I sometimes forget to pause and reflect as if I'm racing with time.
