Doomed!
I seen a few programs in the last week about the financial crisis and I don't think I should watch any more! A series of woeful tails of recklessness, lack of regulation and greed. I can't help wondering why the people responsible haven't been brought to book, fined, sent to jail, rather than the odd reluctant sorry! The answer is there all in it together the Bank Bosses, regulators often ex-bank executive managers and the politicians who say regulation is bad. The worse thing about this is than even after everything that has happened, the same people are still in charge and politicians still won't regulate in any meaningful way, even Obama!
The Euro Crisis continues, how many more last weeks to save the euro are we gonna have? Useless politicians, who live in a world of National interest, can see the big picture, but can't find the courage to make the difficult but necessary decisions. You could always run away to save your financial sector from goodness knows what, because your afraid they might up sticks and leave, taking their dodgy practices with them? Having conveniently forgotten that they and their love of your light touch regulation, required a multi billion pound bailout.
Almost forgot we have a climate change agreement but only on how we might reach agreement when we get round to it...
