What are we gonna do now? Dave wins but doesn't, oh dear nightmare for him. What to do talk to Glegg but surely he will never agree deal because Tories hate PR, so will never agree. As for Brown in the mire or may be not if Glegg wants PR, this is the only way to get it. So lets hope Glegg's misguided principles 'Oh I must to talk to Dave first' or 'Can I really be seen to support an unpopular looser!' don't get in way of a deal on PR. He must take the opportunity a drive a hard bargin and stick to his conviction about PR.
What ever happens I think all the parties will get new leaders, Cameron should have walked it given state of things. Brown unpopular and too associated with mess, even if not totally his fault. Clegg a maybe, stays if deal on PR goes if not.
Or is the whole thing doomed! Will political bickering, ideology, internal power struggles or the unwillingness to compromise bring the whole thing to its knees. Various pundits are already saying new Election in October....And I can't help but agree, as if a deal is done it will fall apart, its inevitable. What a sad indictment of our political system, the inability of politicians to make an agreement for the common good!!!
Also I hope someone is held accountable for those people not being able to vote!! A total disgrace, this is the UK not some dodgy third world corrupt democracy!!!!!
