Recently I've been watching a few movies on DVD with my bro. livesushi let me borrow a few from her collection.
In America - I had no idea what this movie was about, but since livesushi suggested it, I was curious. I confess I had never even heard about it! But I just loved it. I loved the story, the way it was told, the characters, the actors... I've found it very good!! And of course, I had to cry a lot. Highly recommended!
Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind - This one was much recommended to me, despite it having Jim Carrey. And I had no idea of what the movie was about. In the middle I was kinda lost, but then I could understand what I was watching and it happened what I was suspecting... Kate Winslet was quite unrecognizable and therefore, proved how good actress she is. I second the recommendation of this one!
