I'm Telling You I Was The King Of Spain
I've been getting more reminders this week of why I enjoy mythical family trees so much.
One family tree I discovered two nights ago claims that I am a direct descendant of Odin, Frigg, and Baldur. (A few of you out there will know why I choked for a second when I "discovered" that Friggen' Balder Baldur was my ancestor.)
Last night I stumbled across another line pegging me with the blood of Uther Pendragon. Apparently he did some oat-sewing across the Channel from Cornwall and Wales: this genealogy insisted I was Uther's line through a daughter named Anna of Brittany. I wonder if Arthur ever met her, or this was a secret family Uther only saw during business trips among his Celtic cousins?
