This week's two Favorite Out Of Context Quotes:

She wasn't doing anything more at this point than gliding in with a stick that wanted to fight her--made easier by dropping her tons of ordnance into the sea moments before--but whether the flight deck crew knew that was another matter. They would've seen by now that her flight gear wasn't down. They already had the deck lights on to guide her in...she'd drifted starboard on her windborne approach. She corrected as much as she could and vowed that whatever happened, she would not let her plane crash into the island. She'd overfly and ditch before it came to that. No sense killing anyone except herself.
