I'm pretty sure that most people on my flist know of the epic musical that is Newsies. (If you don't, you should really go about watching it.) If you've ever watched Newsies, you know that it is basically The Epic Love Story of Jack and David (with side love stories).
Now you ask, "But Kait, Jack clearly has a love interest in this movie and her name is Sarah and she's David's sister and she is very pretty."
All of these things are true. But there is also this. Sarah is not a character. Sarah seems to be some last minute edition that Disney decided was necessary in order to make Jack and David less obvious. This totally backfired, as Sarah is not a character and further proves that Jack and David are in love. It's just-- No one buys it. Even little girls who watch it don't buy it. (Read the Mary Sues at ff.net.) It's-- Sarah is not a character. She goes in rapid circles from being passive when the Delancies attack her to punching them to passive in about 30 seconds flat.

And Jack loves David.
