Reading Shakespeare + Too little sleep = this entry

Dante is done and mostly lectured on, and Hamlet is in the works.  I should be through it by now, perhaps even twice over, but distractions have averted me enough that I have not yet gotten through for the first time.  The volumes of Hana Kimi (I speak of the manga this time) that I brought with me held much greater and easier interest for a time, at least until I ran out.  It is both to my fortune and misfortune that the last two volumes (for that's all that is left of it) are due 1 and 3 months hence, and so I must wait to finish out the tale.  However, the plot that has thickened thus far is enough to hold me over, and the cliff hanger not too great to hang me in too much peril.  I fear now what great distractions might prove themselves attractive over the next days, as I should have expected them to come as I did not.  There is plenty yet to distract, but my recent obsession upon the one aforementioned series is such that I might find more of a difficulty in finding new pleasures to soothe and rest the mind, at least for a bit of time.

At any rate, I have not been sleeping as much as mayhaps should have been done, and I still have yet Hamlet to finish out and a paper proposal to draft, so I must speed hence.
