Physics lab much?

So today was an interesting day.  I got to sleep in, which was very nice, but I forgot to grab something to eat on my way out of the room so I went until 2 without anything to eat (whoops).  SSFT was really good - the class in great, as is are the profs and the fact that there's two of them.  Discrete went alright, though it would've been better with food (I like logic, though).

I had my first physics lab today, and we took the diagnostic test.  I have to say, I haven't felt this stupid in a while.  I don't know, I just felt like half the questions - which were actually relatively simple - were designed specifically to trick me.  Gah.  I like numbers and defining things like force in such a way that I know what they actually want to mean by it.  Ah, well.  Anyway, after that we conducted our first lab... the classic motion detector.  This was sort of interesting because it managed to have a different max (how far away it could see) every time we tested.  And then we got an angle within which it could see of 24 degrees when apparently the norm is between 9 and 16 by others' estimates.  Um.  We definitely did it right, though, so who knows...  I even managed to call a leg of a right triangle a hypotenuse, so it really just wasn't a good period for me.  On the plus side, at least so far I don't mind the prof at all, so hopefully that won't change.  : )

I spent too much time today reading OOTS...  Somehow I managed to not read any over the summer, and I had only just started at the end of school, so now I'm around 100.  Heh, my homework cries out to be completed while I take a trip through RPG-land.  Or something.  (I really am making a fool of myself today.)

So yeah, I'm tired again...  Not having breakfast this morning probably did not do me any favors.  Plus I still have sleep to catch up on still...

physics, school, discrete, oots, ssft
