Hmm, what to say regarding parents' weekend? It started off interestingly, I suppose. Instead of watching anime, the OSG watched Killzone. By "the OSG," I mean the four of us that actually showed up for it. It was a... unique experience, to say the least. It was a Chinese streetfight/cop movie, which is a genre I can't say I've ever delved into, so I didn't know quite what to expect. Anyhow, after that was supposed to be the finale of Morrowind. Unfortunately, the band concert was also that night... and we needed a full party. So that's still something that has to happen.
Yesterday I spent the morning doing random, somewhat productive things. In the afternoon was the GT parents' weekend service, which was pretty successful. Included in that, though, was the passing of offices. So now I have several boxes and a cooler... apparently the secretary keeps all the albums, the charcoal, and random other stuff that I have yet to look through. I probably have even more than the new director, and she got all the music! Saturday evening was the finale of Hunter, which I was glad I was able to attend. It was very fun to watch
irked_indeed change between roles and then randomly into GM mode - "I need you, you, and you to roll perception/awareness." Jason is visiting for the weekend, too, so I got to talk to him again, which was pretty cool.
Finally, this morning chapel choir did it's last performance of the semester in the parents' weekend service. We got to sing "Joy in the Morning" again, which made me really happy... I really enjoy that song. The sermon was only so-so, but the singing and the commissioning of the Red Box Missionaries went well.
Oh, and after going back and forth for several days worth of posting, my character and
disketeer's character in the Exalted play-by-post finally parted ways... onward to Nexus!!
