WOOHOO. I had a nice 2 hour lunch at Tung Lok at Clarke Quay with the Austrade Singapore F&B staff, fellow interns and the two teachers in charge of us. The crazy thing is, they gave us students 200 dollars worth of Borders gift cards each!! That's times 6 people = 1.2k! >< Oh mann. I can buy my H3 texts and more without burning a whole in my wallet. Thank you! They are so nice that we feel guilty only giving them namecard holders from the school..
I'm really glad that I decided to hand in that registration form back in April. A week in food heaven away from lessons in school, getting to know how real businesses work, seeing trade and all the econs concepts (both macro and micro!) in action, interacting with many friendly and not so friendly people out there.. Not to mention the freebies. (: Heh I really enjoyed that week. And it seems that we did a pretty good job and impressed people!
