So, like the masochistic fanauthoress I am, I browsed through new additions in FF.net's Saiyuki section. Something about Tenpou, some MS parody by elvaron...and all of a sudden, I come across a fic with THIS summary...
Genjo Sanzo is cold and cruel...is there a reason why he is like this?...
...Ahm, question. Has this author not heard of Koumyou Sanzo? You know, Kouryuu's master, horribly and gruesomely killed by demons, sending the scrumplet on a journey of angst and guilt and pathos? (The author/ess willingly admits to a bad memory, and it's his/her first fic, BUT STILL! Is there a reason to Sanzo's grumpiness? *facefault*)
So, well, never mind, I thought it might be another discourse on Koumyou Sanzo. A starter fic. Down I settled in my chair, and started reading. I LIKE Koumyou: give me a good fic about him, considering no-one's done it yet, really, and I shall be happy. But no.
According to said story, every time it rains, Sanzo thinks of...her.
Her. Her? HER?! Noooo! A Mary Sue! Even better, by Amazing Coincidence, she shares Sanzo's hair and eye colour.
Mmph. Nothing else to say. Returning you to your normally scheduled programming now.
Oh yeah, saw SaiRel previews. Evil. Evil. Gojyo looks TERRIBLE in it! *weeps* But it promises so much, and there's FLUFF coming up...
