Another rough and dismally normal Monday *groan curse flop*. New PS assignment, and a pretty hefty one - gotta draw a bungalow. Considering you can get paid up to RM 5000 for a good 3d plan, this is something we'd better learn. We'll see if evil!CK's revelation makes any difference in getting the class to SHUT THE FSCK UP DURING LESSONS. (evil!CK = Perspective CK; cute!CK = Illo F. CK)
I gotta figure out how to extend the heights correctly. While I don't think I was one of those who got 0 for my exam *hopehopehope*, I don't think I did too well either. ^^;
Calligraphy...was calligraphy. I stayed up from 12-4 doing carpenter pencil redos (my HAND! IT BUURRRRRNNNSSSSS!), and decided a little nap was in order before I did my overdue poster research. GOD, WHY do I always do this? I fell asleep until seven and scrambled like a mad shitless Mweeble to finish everything. And went ON finishing all through between class breaks. After class went to look for reference uncle, but...he wasn't there. Umph. He said he had some kinda Ultraman-related book he wanted to dump on me...probably an old Terebi-kun or something, but hey. I need refs for FS before I die. Went to the art shop, got some thingers, and a replacement cover for my handphone. Three weeks ago I leaned against a table and cracked the plastic screen ^^;;;; They didn't have any red ones, but there was this very fetching blue-and-white affair that I decided on instead. The buttons are so springy ♥

Sunday was shopping day, which took longer than expected - and yielded some interesting findings.First off, of course, we have the monthly Comic BomBom review. Nothing REALLY special. Yawaraka Nintai SOS was slightly tamer than usual. Metroid Episode of Aether is shaping up pretty good. Galactania was really nice - Spark reminds me of Kouga~iji~XD XD Ultra Ninja Manual was...interesting. Man decided to treat Taro, Leo, Tiga, Ace and Max to lunch at his favourite restaurant. It's enough to put any grotty old mamak stall to shame, and the food? Blee. I don't think I'd MIND sea-slug on rice--can't be as bad as sea cucumber, right?--but *chocolate* on rice with a raw egg, anyone? How about fermented beans on rice? Mm, vinegary! Poor Tiga thought he was safe when he ordered a curry rice...that came with liberal lashings of wasabi, karashi, chilli peppers, tau pan cheong (hot bean sauce) and tabasco. Oh, seven spice mixture on the side. Dear chibi, I swear that if you EVER come to Malaysia, I will cook you PROPER curry. I don't know HOW to cook curry, but hey, it'll be better than Bakadon-ya's for sure. And if really cannot, I'll treat you to Yoshinoya. Provided you bring shihan, so I can drool into my beef bowl over him XD Luckily the shogun intervened.
Sadly, while there was nekkid! Leo and nekkid! Tiga, the ONE thing missing was of course *heavy sigh* nekkid shihan.
This was also the month that readers had to bid goodbye to Musha Retsuden - Bukabuka-hen. *weep weep* Titan died - a bit of a stretch, but no surprise, considering he couldn't control the yami-jashin that he'd summoned with the twisted Bukabuka. Rekka Musha Gundam ALSO died, which was a bit sad, considering. But Saizou was OK in the end, and they revived Psycho. I still find it kind of sad that even though peace returned the Seven of the Light are STILL lacking one member...*headdesk*
Btw, has anyone read a series of books called Deltora Quest? They were making this BIG hoo-ha about the new manga based on some 'world-wide best-seller', when I had to pause a bit to remember that oh YES, it was that series I glimpsed translated in Kino, and that was all. Bloody LONG first chapter and the prince looks like a GIRL. Not to mention you SO know the vizier is a paedophile. *fwop*
BTW, BomBom kept its promise, sort of, to print every piece of mail they got. Three pieces of UlNin art exactly - and one was INSTANTLY recognisable, with the solid colouring, calligraphic line and open-eye style that I've seen a couple times on Nagaya Ninjou. Thus, big spanking sparkling CONGRATULATIONS go out to Takigawa Takumi, for getting his/her Man placed in the very first BomBom Channel.
I'd like to send something in too, but the promise was to print all JAPANESE mail. Le sigh.
Oh yes - I also managed to get Hatori Bisco's Ouran Koukou Host Club.Ouran Koukou Host Club. Blame trirose for introducing it to me, as it's the only shojo manga I've read and enjoyed. Besides Kimi Wa Petto, maybe, but that's a little on the smexy side. ^^; Anyway. Got volumes 2 and 3 - got volume 1 somewhere on my hard drive. It's fun to read, and OMG the slash fans would be kept happy. Subtext for god knows HOW many pairings. Personally I like Mori/Honey and Mori/Haruhi. Honey/Mori might be interesting if you consider the whole 'times-gone-past' angle they took at one point. There were a couple of gaiden-ish inserts that I enjoyed too! ^^ I think I'll bring it tomorrow, as there are some cute things I wanna show JL.
