Comm Skills went pretty well today - managed to target all the criteria needed for the purpose. Can't believe how I got clear pronunciation. Me? Clear pronunciation? Miss bullet-train tongue? XD
I worked on the Next poster until about two last night tracing, and brought it to college to continue. Only thing is, when I unclipped it from the drawing board, the clippie thing snagged the paper and AVULSED my work. AUUUGGGHHH!!! Blast!
...OK, OK, only a small tear, but still a tear. Have been working on it about 2 and a half hours, finished sketching five refs with four more to go. Here, I'll show you.

In case you want to colour a scene from the movie someday. Next Junis holding up a falling building with his back, which is one of the cooler things he does with two feet on the ground in the movie. :D
Truthfully, it's only now that the 'holy-shit-Next-is-Nexus-is-Noa' feel kicks in. I was drawing Next's neck (say THAT fast five times) when i realised he had the same triangle pattern thing down his throat that Noa does. Cue small freakout. As for Next-> Nexus, hey, there's always the shoulders. AND THEM JUNIS 'EARS'. *rapid noddage*
Homura-san saw me with my default icon in Y!Msgr last night and asked, 'Is that a plushie of the chestnut?' This stems from one of Kodama's drawings one night, where she drew Nexus with a head like an inkblob/chestnut. I just blurted out 'chestnut head!' and now I guess we all call him 'the chestnut' or 'chestnut kid/kurikko' (栗っ子).
Yes, I told her, it was my beloved chestnut-boy plushie, and as I said that I suddenly felt this sort of sad plummeting in my ribcage. I feel it again as I write this line, it almost physically hurts.
Sigh. Such a fangirl is moi. Back to work. Late night tonight with music accompaniment.
