Was a tidge disappointed when I got the previous Design assignments back. Yeah, 5.5 - 6.5 is not SO bad if you think about it, but 5 happens to be the passing mark over here and redos are encouraged, if you get my drift. *sigh* And foolishly I thought those days were behind me. Took a while (and a bit of pokage from Lammy and JL's part - thanks, you guys) to shake off the impending sense of doom. Might as well concentrate on the tangram and expressive stroke assignment. As somewhat lukewarm comfort, IC told us that our class had, overall, the highest standard of work in the term. Many of the other classes clocked a high percentage of failing marks.
Went to Pyramid to walk around and try and cheer myself up and caught more masters at work on the Para2Paradise machine. You know, those overly 1337 people who flick on every single randomisation at Expert Freestyle mode and hit like 200-300 moves in a row. You can imagine I was a *squidge* surprised when they started playing the lowly Para-para mode, but...no, they had that down to an art too, right down to a right rhythmical dance routine for one song complete with clockwork butt-shake. 0_0 Attempted Kingdom of Rock in hard mode and almost died. *falls back* First time I ever tried 5 stars...and it was ironic I fared better playing that than dancing my pet song Ale Japan. Yare yare, Miiburu, what would shihan say if he knew. ;)
Had nothing but chocolate ice cream for lunch, which explains why I still feel a tad conked out. Going to check the paintchat rooms in the fervent hope SOMEbody's around and then going to bed.
Oh, and to 'commemorate' Nexus' run ending, I've changed my icon theme. Wish I could get some screenies of the episodes past #24. I saw some today, but I'd rather miss the whole arc than have holes in it where episodes are missing. *serious noddage* Junis Blue~
