The fencing tournament was this weekend--I sooooo didn't suck! Everyone was very surprised that I didn't make a complete fool of myself. My form and technique improved greatly and my footwork was alright too. I had so much fun though. I rode in the car with Jon (which was cool cause he's a friend of mine), Andy (he drove and he has a nice car!), and Michael (who I got to know a lot better, and I feel sorry for him cause he has terrible luck and lots of issues, but he's still a cool guy). Then we had to pack 20 people into 3 hotel rooms. I ended up in the exact room I didn't want to be in, but it ended up being for the best because we got doughnuts in the morning. I won 2 of my four bouts and it was all good. I think that at the next tournament I may get a foil of my very own! YEY!!
Then Sunday I had to do two papers (one of them being a research paper for art...hard and a half!) and Jon came over and did all of his laundry.
Monday was terrible. We went to Houston for a Cross Country meet (7 hours down 7 hours back). I didn't do well, and I couldn't breathe for two miles. It was a 6k, which I have never run before, and none of the miles were marked. Bonnie was sick, so she didn't run, which meant I was the fifth person. And since I sucked, our team didn't do well. It made me sad. I don't know if I'm cut out for this. Luckily conferance is in 2 weeks, so it'll all be over shortly. Then theres track. If I don't do well in indoor, I think I'm just going to quit.
Oh well...life goes on...
