I just spent two days and one night in the hospital. I fainted at work yesterday morning and my boss took me to the ER. I knew I was having a migraine as soon as I came to and my face and arm started tingling. the nurse immediately gave me an IV with an anti-emetic and morphine. they ran tests, chest xray, chest and head ct scan with contrast, echocardiogram. everything came back negative, so apparently we can add fainting to my list of interesting migraine symptoms. considering the severity of symptoms and my inability to prevent them on my own, I have agreed to start on daily medication to prevent them. I am incredibly apprehensive about this, I am scared of the side effects.

I am still having the migraine, they did not send me home with anything because I think it's like a medicine trap. I'm trying to trick myself into sleeping it off with pamprin and more anti-emetics.
