My parents have this weird "marital telepathy" thing going on. Without coordinating it, they often wear matching clothes. It's...awkward. And they both pick the same days to go grocery shopping after work and then end up buying the same things. Again, no pre-coordination. It just happens. I guess marriage means that you have a perpetually high sync rate, or something.
That was the most interesting development today.
Somewhere, my interest looped back around and now I'm continuing work on the Liun Region. But right now all I can think about is this stomachache that's really not that bad...just so annoying. It only takes a TINY headache or a little bit of indigestion and it becomes a feat of endurance to really concentrate on anything. Maybe I have high standards for concentration. Maybe I'm just the most spoiled kid in history.
I need to do something to change things up...hmm. Maybe I'll just start taking the train to random places and see where I end up. Nah, that would probably end in frustration. It might be fun with a GPS or something, though. Actually, I've always wanted to take the GPS from one of the cars and use it on a bike or just walking. Of course, it would be better if I could just drive. Man, I should just go schedule that stupid test now so that I can get my license before I'm fricking eighteen. What a crappy system...in every single other state, you can just go in and take the test when you're ready. NEW JERSEY does it better than we do. NEW JERSEY. Come on, step it up, people.
(Have I rambled about this before, or only in person?)
That strategy guide thing is getting more tempting all the time. Screw it, I'll just have to go and restrain myself from reading every interesting discovery in the game. Well, later. I've got other things to do at this point. I probably won't end up doing it.
Hmm, isn't that gaming expo this weekend? Might be a fun trip, but I get the feeling that my parents are planning for me to do something stupid with them again. Oh yeah, I remember, the Carnegie Hall thing. Maybe if I'm lucky they won't have bought my ticket yet. Of course, it does mean that they'll be gone the whole weekend whether or not I can go with them.
You want to know why we're the most polluting country? Because if you can't drive a car for some reason, you're basically stuck in your house. There's this website that scores neighborhoods based on the feasibility of living without a car, and yeah. It's not really possible. You basically have to live somewhere where it's impossible to drive anyway.
But then even if I could drive, I wouldn't have anywhere to go, really, because none of my friends ever have any money to spend. Apparently, if you have parents who give you money for stuff and you live around here, you're automatically the kind of person I wouldn't want to spend time with.
Tch...
If you want free entertainment, I guess you're better off staying at home. Maybe I should just force everyone to download the same MMO or something. But then, none of them would ever be able to play because they're all busy making something of their lives, by societal standards. -_-
