(no subject)

I wish there were something in my life that wasn't pathetic, so I could talk about that.

Dinner night, no movie. It was a good week, but pretty long...

This advertisement to the side of my entry was made really lazily; they forgot to turn the negative space on the pictures they used to transparencies, so they've got a green background except white between peoples' arms and bodies. I mean, it's one thing to scam people, but they're not even TRYING.
Also, it's an endlessly looping animation, and it's distracting...

All right, solved that problem. Not really. But close enough.

Back when I chronicled every day, I always hated writing on Fridays. I guess that my inspiration for entries back then was my negative thoughts about the day that was to come.
I never should have gotten into the habit of sitting down and thinking about the way things are in the world. I never seem to come to the conclusion that "the world is just great", and other people seem to rely on that conclusion.
There are great things about the world, but that doesn't mean that the world is great as a whole. But then again, "the world as a whole" is really just my own perception, which is a smaller part of the rest of the world, so for all I know, it could be reversed. I guess either way there's really no point in generalizing.

Like I said yesterday, we all just have to get off our asses and start doing.
There's too much waiting in line in life. We ought to just cut to the front, do what we need to do, and move on. I mean, not literally, but...we need to stop killing time.
Of course, there's not that much else to do until you have some direction to head in.

Really, even I'm starting to find these metaphorical tirades to be annoying. I just need something else to talk about. What do people think about in the world, the Phillies?
Soyeah, the Phillies did great! World champions! Awesome!
I wonder what would happen if the Phillies played against the Japanese champion team, or the Mexican champion team, or something. Why don't they ever have an ACTUAL World Series, involving the rest of the world?
It really speaks to who we are as a country. "All around the world, from Dallas to Chicago!"

Yeah, I guess it's back to the tirades until something good happens.
