Ugh
Exhausted, irritated, stressed out ... it's definitely a new semester. And I already have my first test today. On top of two papers and a 100-hour long project from one of my adoring clients. My mentor search for my McNair project has taken some interesting turns. Just as long as I have one by March, I'll be fine.
Managed to go to a concert. It was amazing. Bruce Foxton and Rick Buckler of The Jam formed a reunion tour called From the Jam. Paul Weller gave them the OK to do it, though he isn't participating. The singer they got sounds just like him though, so it was still brilliant. And Hugh Cornwell from the Stranglers opened for them. He did some of his solo stuff, but he played mostly Stranglers tunes. One of the best things about the show was the crowd. 90% of them people were mid-30's to early 50's. Probably the second best performance I've ever seen. (The best being The Police at the Staples Center last year.)
