Ouch
Went to Vegas this weekend and I fractured my knee cap on some of the lovely polished tile that the city seems to favor so much. My ligaments were spared, so I should be fine. School started today and dealing with the various flights of stairs was murder. I was able to take the elevator in most of the buildings, but not all of them.
On the upside, my teachers seem pretty cool and the curator of the Natural History Museum is running the discussion section of my Cellular Biology class. The lecture part is split between two professors, one of them is the head of the Neurosci department. This will give me a chance to get acquainted with him.
At least I get Tuesdays and Thursdays off this semester. That gives me a day to deal with work and homework, plus any errands I need to run during the week. I just can't believe Winter Break is already over.
