Greetings from the Great White North
Snowshoeing is the best. This is great trompin' snow. Need to do it more. Took my time getting up the Retreat Trails, mostly due to severe lack-of-staying-in-shape. Too much lamesauce on the chicken nuggets, I'm afraid. Love the swimming, but not financially. Hopefully some fun-bucks will come my way soon. Discovered some XC skis in the shed behind my house, as we were doing a super-clean-out and I scored some cool junk (and furniture for friends, yesss) so I hope to get them checked out to see if they work for me and get some boots so I can start swooshing!
The Midnight Sledding Society has begun. Will you join us? Cold and windy, but worth it.
