Yeah, I'm a little spammy tonight. Usually I like the way Superman treats Booster Gold like an annoying tagalong kid-brother...but this is right after Michelle was killed. Don't the Justice League TALK to each other?
Regarding the Justice League, though...there are these two panels in the Flash trade I picked up last week (specifically from The Secret of Barry Allen, part 3 for those of you following along at home) that really struck me. The first panel shows the Justice League in Barry Allen's day. Batman, the Atom, and Wonder Woman are sitting; Hawkman, Zatanna, Green Arrow, Flash, Black Canary, and Superman are all standing in a little group gathered around those three. Everyone is smiling and making eye contact; they don't seem to mind their physical proximity. In the second panel, showing the League in the present, only the Flash, Superman, J'onn, Wonder Woman, Batman, and John Stewart are shown. Everyone is sitting equidistant to each other, confined in their own chair and their own space, except Batman, who is standing against a console in the background. No one is making eye contact, no one is smiling.
Interesting, huh?
