Kilbourne called back, I CRIED WHILE I TURNED THEM DOWN!
They called back, said $50,000.00/yr, no bull, full supervisor, work every other weekend instead of every weekend. Agony, frickin AGONY. I love my current $40,000.00/yr job even though they are late with my raise and said they could not give more than 6% raise in one year so my 6 months raise will be 2.7 and 12 month 2.7, not to exceed 6% because of cumulative effect. This time next year I'll be making 42,400, UGH! BUT, I won't have a changeable schedule, I'm off all the same days as public school is off, I'm integral to the programs here, and I make my own schedule around whatever they have me teaching. I can get Lydia on and off the bus 4 out of 5 days per week, otherwise Rob comes home early or the neighbor helps. It would really screw up my lifestyle to take that job and add stress...AMAZINGLY, it's TOTALLY NOT WORTH THE EXTRA $9000.00/yr (pinch me, did I say that?). I totally feel like Galadriel after saying no to Frodo concerning the one ring (wow, I am a DORK!).
