i got my internship at the austin film festival yesterday. thats very exciting. i read screenplays and judge them all day. its nice. so far.
sometimes i even amaze myself with my lack of insight and planning. the little girl who lives inside me (you know, the one who tells me when things arent a good idea) has apparently left for a week-long vacation to the poconos. *slams open palm into forehead*
i went on a nice date last night. we ate steak (and quail!), and i wore my new shoes. it was enjoyable, and they had la crema pinot noir. one of my favorites.
i have a bookshelf from the 40s. i halfway tried to re-varnish it, but didnt get around to finishing it. i wont use it because i have entirely too many books. if anyone wants it, you can come pick it up free of charge.
im paying my credit card bill off too fast. i write a check every month that my butt cant cash.
wow, thats not only a literal phrase for my life, but a metaphorical one as well.
i pretty much just work weekends now, which sucks for money, but its nice so i can study during the week. funny how this is supposed to be the busiest semester, but im very relaxed and have plenty of time to do whatever i need and want to do.
i thought i would have to wait months before i could watch another hockey game, but thanks to the world cup of hockey, the huge black void in my life has been filled. thank you jesus.
