Eventful week so far
So Friday I was sick as hell with a headache. My nose was all stuffy and my throat hurt.
Saturday helped Stephanie move into her first apartment. I took her out and bought her birthday present a little early. She needed some things for the new place.
Sunday didn't do much but laundry. I still felt like crap, so I just hung out most of the day. Todd came home from the lake and now that we have this new found space in our house (since Stephanie has moved her stuff), we ran the network cable to the back room to set up a small office area. Me, grace as usual, was trying to get the network cable off of the porch light and fell of the step. I sprained my left ankle again. The doctor that looked at it last time, laughed at me and asked me what my excuse was this time. There wasn't any ice.
Monday was the first day of school for all of us. Went and had a yummy breakfast at perkins and took Miss Chris to school. Got about halfway through the day and Todd calls to say we have to leave early because he lost a crown in his tooth. That cost a small fortune. Went to school with Mike and found out that we really do need a book for it. It is only $50 for 3 of them thank dog, but still.
Tuesday we were running late and Christina missed the bus. Todd and I were late to work. At about 8 am I get a phone call from the school nurse saying that Christina is running a temp and feels sick to her stomach. Starting off great for the 2nd day of school. I had to drive all the way north and pick her up and take her home and then drive all the way back downtown. The nurse said they had already reported 8 cases of Mono, 12 cases of strep throat and 2 people had arms or legs already. I took her and I to the urgent care this evening and we both have strep throat. Isn't that lovely. We have 10 days worth of drugs now.
Wednesday...Has got to be better!
Time for a nice hot shower and to go to bed.
