OK! If you enjoyed reading ERAGON by Paolini at all, even the tiniest bit, even like, point zero zero zero one percent, DO NOT go see the movie, they butchered it. I was sitting there the entire ready to blow up and scream at the screen. They didn't ruin the books, but they totally ruined the excitement of having an eragon movie. Seriously, it's difficult to think of one thing they did correct, watching their version of an Eragon movie is like watching a Harry Potter movie without freaking Dumbledore or Hogwarts, seriously I even thought of my Chicago esssay, the he'lade one, the one about "place where everything is right" this movie, complete freaking opposite, nothing was right, everything was wrong, characters, locations, PLOT, dialogue, costumes, everything. When you make a movie out of a book, you have to at least stick to the plot right??? I guess not, not anymore, you don't even have to stay true to the spirit of the story, you can just make it about whatever you want, s'long as it'll make you money. Even though LOTR were a freakin eternity, at least they had the same plot, the same spirit of "wow, we're really fighting evil here, we're really doin what they did in the books, even if we take longer to watch than they did to read"
Seriously don't see this movie, it'll have to be redone sometime in the future, cuz this one totally blew.
