Congrats, we want you to be in the D.E.A.N Scholars Program (Diversity in Experience and Academics at NYU). What this means is that 1. We will give you $25,000 a year to attend our school 2. You get to have cool seminars and international opportunities 3. Cool community service opportunities, and 4. We want to fly you out to New York from March 25-27 so we can meet each other, all expenses paid, of course. Also, we selected 82 people out of 22,000 applicants, meaning that you are within the 0.0037% of applicants. Oh, and you're an all around awesome guy, congrats!

Can I say Wow, that's about all that's being produced right now. I didn't fill out any extra application, I didn't do any extra interviews, I simply applied. Needless to say, this was a complete surprise and all that goodness.
In conclusion, I may get to do the Irish Studies Minor afterall :)
