Home For Easter
So yeah, managed to half finagle a ride home for Easter. (Okay I didn't actually finagle someone... but I really wanted to use the word. *smiles sheepishly*
Stayed up til midnight talking to Mom, regaling her with the latest tales from up North.
Friday was a lazy day until I went and visited Connie. Spend about five hours at her place, just talking, showing pics and enjoying ourself. Also managed to play a really long game of pool. I mean seriously... it took us almost an hour... it was ridiculous... but really fun. From there I watched two eps of Stargate and stayed up late reading fic. (Surprise, surprise.)
Today I talked slash shop with my Mom over breakfast, which was fun. Talked about our favourite fics as of late, and ideas milling about in our brains.
I then met up with Christine and Chris up in Hanover. I got my nose pierced!! *squees* It hurt so much. Give me a tattoo *winks at Christine and says tattoo with a Quebecois accent* any day over a piercing. It's pretty tender, but looks really cute. I didn't bring home my connector cord for my camera, so no pics til I get back up North. From there we ate lunch and went to Walmart and Zellers. Apparently I looked pretty crazy cause everyone was in heavy coats, hats and mittens, and I'm walking around in a strapless shirt. *shrugs* From there we parted ways, and I came home.
Watched Bon Cop, Bad Cop with my family. really good movie, hilarious actually. Best line though is.... Shit de merde de shit de fuck de tabernaque! *giggles* Also watched The Lake House which is such a cute movie, and then a Lewis Black comedy special... and then this documentary on the iceberg that sunk the Titanic.
With this done... I'm gonna sleep now
