I don't know if I can snark any more threads from the childhate board. The last time I browsed through it, I just ended up shouting "Fuck you!" uncontrollably while giving avatars the finger. Not good.

Took a little time out yesterday to practise the accordion. I'm getting to grips with Courtin' in the Kitchen, Do You Want Your Oul' Lobby Washed Down, and I'll Tell Me Ma. I think if I make it a daily thing - just an hour or so before six in the evening so as not to disturb the neighbours - I could get really good.

Had the most horrible dream on Friday night that the kids in The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe really existed. They were brutally murdered by their father shortly after they came to live with him, and I was watching a four-part documentary about how C.S. Lewis used their identities in his book to keep their memory alive. In the last part of the documentary it showed a computer reconstruction of how the father murdered them all in a single night, and how he started with Lucy. It was awful. :'( What's wrong with my mind?!

Can anyone out there explain to me why, when Xander gets powered up in a fanfic, he usually turns into an asshole who hates Buffy's guts? I mean, is this some kind of jealous fanboy wish-fulfilment thing?
There's a real irony about Xander fans taking their favourite character and stripping him of all the things that make him likeable for the sake of a shiny new "power", and to tell Buffy off. And I wouldn't care if the reader was supposed to hate Xander for it, or if Super!Xander's disgusting treatment of the other Scoobs came back to bite him in the ass. But usually that's not what happens.

Just saw the Little Britain ep. where Michael asks Sebastian to shred a career-ending document as a favour, and in return Sebastian asks Michael to dust the place wearing nothing but a leather posing pouch. >:-D Fair fucks to Tony Head for doing it, though.
