Two towers + shopping + New year plans
Well we had a change of heart today deviblue decided that we should go to see Two Towers today ... so we went for the lunch time showing ... and all I can say is that the movie absolutly kicked arse! It was absolutly brilliant and so action packed and gripping and I was on the edge of my seat it was so cool....
There was a funny bit - it was not meant to be funny but....
Gimli (to Aragorn) - "Toss me!"
Aragorn - "What?"
Gimli - "Toss me - but don't tell the elf"
I am not going to spoil the movie by saying much about the scene ... it has to be seen in context ..... but needless to say the sniggers that rippled across the cinema remeniscent of Beavis and Butthead...
Over all The Two Towers was awesome - I was totally enthralled and impressed with the CGI Smeagol to... pretty convincing actually.
After that we went into Watford and did some window shopping, deviblue wanted to check out some clothes, i was looking for a nice new coat... well we could not buy but we browsed and said what we would get when we had some money.... Got some food... then deviblue wanted to get a new microwave.. so we stopped in Argos and picked one up... It pretty much pissed down with rain all day and we got soaked.. but it was nice and we had fun all the same...
Coming back from town we got caught in a traffic queue on the bus .. people getting angry and pipping their car horns when the roads got grid locked .. me n deviblue dozed on the bus thankful that the traffic queue was not our problem....
So New years eve plans have altered now, instead we are going to get in a couple of good DVD's and a Kentucky box and snuggle up to watch movies all night... its going to be nice, relaxing, alcohol free and most of all warm and cosy unlike getting cold in London somewhere :-)
On an end note for this journal if you have not seen any of the LoTR movies so far released... why the hell not?
