bennmorland pointed me to Critque's Circle a few days ago - it certainly looks like a good website for improving your writing skills! You sign up, and for every story you post, you have to post 3 decent reviews (or critques -posh!) for someone else's story. It sounds like a great way to make use of fellow writer's advice, plus some members on there just like to read and critique only.
Once you sign in, you get 2 points - to gain another point you review another story (like I've just done) so you have enough points to submit a story (like I've just done) and it's telling me it could come up between now and two weeks.
If there anyone else reading like me who always feels like they want the chance to improve (plus - opportunity for good audience at original fic! Yay!) then I hope you'll find this useful. :D
